Clarity and Wealth Accounting Group, LLC is a Piscataway, NJ-based company that is a full-service tax and accounting firm and provide a broad range of services to small businesses, individuals and their related entities. Our team is licensed and experienced tax professionals have been serving the New Jersey area for over 30 years.
Job Description:
The Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements, general ledger accounts, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of accounting practices and procedures and be able to work independently with minimal supervision and able to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines. The ideal candidate will need to be self-motivated with high energy, strong technical skills, and the ability to identify and research problems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience in the role
- Experience working with Lacerate and QuickBooks
Accountant required. - Minimum 2 years experience as an Accountant required.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
- Must be proficient with general ledger functions.
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliations required.
- Experience with general ledger functions preferred.
- Communicating with Clients
- Experience Lacerate Tax Program
Responsibility
- Prepare various business and individual tax returns including federal, state and local tax returns
- Work with senior staff on review processes
- Interaction with clients, both individual and business
- Respond to government notices
- Actively particiapte in tax planning and stragies for our clients
- Performing tax research
- Developed understanding of reporting requirements and due dated for different business entities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
